Mailchimp API Key

You will need an API key from Mailchimp to integrate with ListingOpen. To create one, follow these simple steps:
  1. Visit your Mailchimp API Settings.
  2. Click “Create A Key”.
  1. Name your key whatever you’d like, then click “Generate Key”.
  1. In the resulting pop-up, you will be shown the API Key. Click “Copy” to copy it to your clipboard - you won’t be able to see it again after you click “Done”.
  1. You can save your API key to ListingOpen to avoid repeating this process.

Mailchimp Audience ID

You will also need your Audience ID from Mailchimp. To find it, follow these simple steps:
  1. Visit your Mailchimp Audience Dashboard.
  2. Click “Manage Audience”, then “Settings”.
  1. Click on “Audience name and campaign defaults”.
  2. Underneath “Audience ID”, you will find your Audience ID.
  1. You can save your Audience ID to ListingOpen to avoid repeating this process.

Add Integration

Once you have your Mailchimp API Key and Audience ID, you are ready to integrate with ListingOpen.
  1. Under your desired listing, navigate to the “Integrations” tab.
  2. Click Mailchimp.
  3. Paste your Mailchimp API Key into the “API Key” field.
  4. Paste your Mailchimp Audience ID into the “Audience ID” field.
  5. Click “Save & Publish” to finish adding the integration.
  6. You’ll know the integration is working when it is labelled “Active”.

Actions

Every new visitor to the listing will automatically result in:
  • Contact created in Mailchimp
  • Contact subscribed to Audience
